Chasey P. – Dental Assistant

Chasey assists Dr. LeBlanc chairside with dental procedures, helping the procedure move along smoothly. She also monitors vital signs and sees to patient’s needs and comfort during treatment. Chasey also performs x-rays, sterilization and infection control tasks, patient charting, answers the phone as well as assisting patients with insurance claims. She is a graduate of the dental assistant program from Acadiana Area Career College and has been working in the dental field for nine years with the last 2 with our practice.

Chasey enjoys being a part of and seeing the outcome of smile makeovers, and the happiness it brings to the patient. Our patients appreciate her soothing presence that helps ease their fears and overcome any apprehension they have.

Chasey and her husband are expecting their first child in July 2010. She lives on a farm in Carencro, LA  where she raises miniature chickens, dogs, goats and a horse.

Tabitha L. – Dental Assistant

Tabitha is a graduate from the dental assistant program from Acadiana Area Career College. She completed her internship with Dr. LeBlanc and then was hired on to the team. Tabitha’s duties include assisting Dr. LeBlanc, monitoring patient’s vital signs during treatment, taking x-rays and impressions, performing sterilization and infection control tasks and patient charting. She also assists with answering phones and processing insurance claims for patients.

Tabitha takes pleasure in comforting patients who are feeling apprehensive and our patients really appreciate that. She also enjoys educating patients on the importance of good oral health so they can enjoy the healthiest smile possible.

Tabitha has one daughter who is her pride and joy.

Richlyn L. Dental Hygienist

As our dental hygienist Richlyn works with our patients so they can achieve and maintain a healthy smile. She provides routine cleanings, perio (gum) scaling/root planning as well as full mouth debridements. She also does x-rays, dental and periodontal charting, administers local anesthetic when needed during treatment, and completes exams with the intraoral camera. When time allows Richlyn also helps out with office duties. Richlyn is a graduate of the dental hygiene program from the University of Louisiana Lafayette School of Dentistry. She has been working in the dental field for eight years with the last four as part of our team.

It is very important to Richlyn that her patients are as comfortable as possible during treatment and have a positive experience. Even our most apprehensive patients walk away with a smile after visiting with Richlyn. Her gentle touch and caring manner truly make a difference.

Richlyn and her husband are originally from Basile, LA, and now live in Youngsville. They are really happy about their move to Lafayette and find it a great place to live.

Ginger D. – Practice/Office Manager

Ginger wears many hats as our practice/office manager keeping the office running smoothly and our patients well taken care of. She greets patients when they visit our office, updates and maintains patient records, facilitates insurance claims and financial management. Ginger performs administration duties such as billing and collections, and staff training.

Ginger is also our treatment coordinator. After Dr. LeBlanc has made a diagnosis, drafted a treatment plan and discussed it with you, she will go over the treatment plan with you and answer any questions you may have. Ginger will determine what your insurance benefits will cover and any co-pays there may be. She will also assist you in any financial arrangements you may need.
Ginger enjoys the interaction she has with patients, and is always ready to great them with a smile. Our patients appreciate the wonderful compassion and consideration she treats them with.

Ginger lives in Lafayette and enjoys cooking, sewing, reading and RVing. She has four grown sons.

Susan C. – Patient Coordinator

As our patient coordinator Susan is available to assist you with scheduling your next appointment. She also maintains patients charts and send out notices when its time for your next appointment. Susan also assists with other office administrative duties when needed. She is a certified nursing assistant and has been formally trained with work with the terminally ill. Susan has worked in the medical field for many years but is new to the dental field. She loves getting to know and interact with patients, and our patients enjoy her wonderful personality. It is her goal to make every patient feel welcome and at home in our office.

Susan describes herself as a “flower child” with a vibrant spirit and caring dispostion.
